facts-i-just-made-up: If we didn’t all sleep some time, Tumblr would get so full so fast that it would bloat up beyond the boundaries of its servers and roll like a massive blob of electric putty across the landscape, destroying all in its path.  Kittens and Hipsters would pour out of the mass and topple cities, comic sans would choke the rivers, a state of perpetual offense would drive the populace to madness as gender arguments and political rants replaced the very ability to communicate.  And I won’t even tell you would the porn and gore blogs would do to this poor, unsuspecting world. 4chan leaked a little and Anonymous happened.  If Tumblr went full breach then the entire Galaxy would remain uninhabitable for trillions of years.
